Nesika Lodge

Admittedly this is a bit out of our normal work routine, but we are so proud to have had the opportunity to assist in the rebuilding of a historic building that was burned down in the Eagle Creek fire that we had to show it. The first picture is before the fire and the red building in the back is the structure we rebuilt. You will see the destruction of all the trees in the vicinity of this destroyed dorm building. Luckily the main lodge, which we also helped to build as children and have done repair work on as adults, survived the fires. Sadly, it will be decades before this area gets back to the lush forested area that it should be.
